OWNER (But Also: Director of Programming, Head of Curriculum, Graphic & Web Design, Finance, PR, Procurer of Supplies, Cleaner Upper, Boo Boo Fixer, Glitter Fairy, Magic Maker)
There’s honestly really not much the gal CAN’T do, but she happily wears all those hats because it means she gets to do what she loves most… build a safe and inspiring space for kids to create. Madison is a professional artist and Atlanta based wedding photographer who resides in the Americus Historic District with her husband David and 5 year old son, Ezra. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Georgia State University.

Lisa Hernandez
LEAD ART TEACHER (But Also: A For Real 4th Grade Reading Teacher, Madison’s Mom)
Lisa retired from public education after 32 years, 15 of which she spent teaching 3rd-4th grade and the last 17 serving as a Middle/High Administrator. She has both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a Leadership Endorsement in Educational Leadership, and a Teacher Support Specialist Certificate. She is now in her fourth year of teaching 4th Grade Reading at Southland Academy.
